Saxon Hill Academy

Why we’re taking part

“We are keen to embark on the March of the Elephants project with St Giles Hospice for two reasons. Firstly, the work that St Giles does in the community resonates so much with the Saxon Hill ethos. This inclusive community project gives our children the opportunity to collaboratively create art, feel pride, working together and sharing with their family and friends. Second is the focus of the project being the elephant which is powerful, unique, included in a strong community, caring and loving, playful, intelligent, fragile and beautiful which summarises the qualities of the pupils in our school who work so hard to overcome barriers every day.”
